Sunderland AFC Park and Ride

5 Aug, 2021

IT’S COMING BACK!

The service we provide on behalf of Sunderland AFC has not been needed due to the Covid restrictions placed on football games and, as a result, for many long months during the pandemic our Sunderland AFC Park and Ride sign has been gathering dust.

However, Sunderland AFC Park and Ride scheme is coming back! On Saturday 7 August, we will take out our service Park and Ride sign, dust it down and place it proudly on display to help all you Sunderland supporters make your way to the first home fixture match against Wigan Athletic F.C!

This will be the first Sunderland AFC Park and Ride service to run since March 2020.

Match details

Saturday 7 August at 3p.m. Wigan Athletic F.C.

About Sunderland AFC Park and Ride Service

Before this recent enforced break, SEP had been running the service for 24 years since July 1997!

It is a partnership between Sunderland AFC, SEP and the freeholders and tenants of the Enterprise Park who make the designated car parks available for use by the supporters. In this way, we manage traffic congestion in order that consideration is given to other road and Park users, and to the environment but, most importantly, supporters have a free service to get them safely to and from the game.

Finally, SEP and the freeholders and tenants of the Enterprise Park are proud to support the football club and the local community by allowing their car parks to be used for this service.  For more details please click here.
