Our updating project is in its third phase – SEP’s CCTV Control Room. We want to tell you about our Advancis Wingard’s new security management software system. This is for the CCTV Control Room. Furthermore, it has benefits for you.

Our new security management software system will benefit you. In other words, it allows SEP’s CCTV Control Room to be more effective. As a consequence, you will be provided with additional services.
What does this mean?
SEP’s CCTV Control Room
The new system allows the CCTV operators to review footage of an incident. At the same time, it allows operators to monitor live images. This means producing evidence of the incident immediately. If they are asked to do so.
Additionally, the system generates many reports. These will be made available to you if required. For instance, these reports show data of our

- types of incident
- statistical data

New and improved services
The new system is now capable of many types of integrations. For instance, it offers more flexible monitoring solutions. To give you some idea of the power of this new technology we have created a list of the features of the old system. Also, we have created a list which shows the new services. These will allow us to provide you with a fantastic service.
Old system features and services
- Alarm Monitoring. Intruder monitoring response. Escalation for tenants. For instance this may include a physical guard response.
- Key holding. Key management system.
- Incident management. Providing incident management and reporting for tenants. In other words, you report incidents to the control room. Similarly, these are logged, managed and reported on.
- Guard patrols and tours. Track and trace security patrols. Above all, ensuring regular patrols of areas have been completed. This is achieved by presenting a fob to a dedicated proximity reader.
- Video motion detection and analytical detection. IP video streams – CCTV Analytics. Video analytics use scientific algorithms to automatically detect people. In addition, vehicles or other objects viewed via your CCTV video images. This sophisticated technology can also detect advanced events such as:-
- objects left or removed
- movement across a line
- direction of travel and loitering.
- Alarm triggers from clients building and premises. Eg fridge alarms, water detection alarms, temperature alarms and BMS alarms.
- Smart video wall and video functionality. Full control over video wall with chosen video feeds and layout designs. If an incident takes place full screen or 2×2 configuration can be chosen at any time.
New system and Additional services
- Maintenance management. Scheduling management of maintenance visits for intruder and fire systems. In addition, associated reporting.
- Remote set and unset of zones. On alarms-based tenants’ schedules.
- BMS System Integration. Lift Management and Monitoring. Temperature monitoring in buildings or of equipment i.e., fridges. Proximity sensors. Air conditioning faults etc.
- Access Control Management. Integrating building/tenant intercoms and acting as a concierge service.
- Lone Working Management. Lone working alarms can be received.
- Intruder alarm detection of buildings and fences. Detailed mapping (CAD) of customers’ premises can be loaded on to the Winguard system. This provides details of rooms and areas as above. In the event of receiving an alarm signal from customers’ premises we are able to pull up a floor layout. In other words, a drawing of the area. This will demonstrate where a detection was made or triggered.
- Access control solution and remote client connections. We can take control of our clients’ access control systems and gates and barriers. Opening and closing at allocated times or on request. We can also monitor ‘door forced’ and ‘door held open’ alarms & triggers, combined with video images of the area.
